Even tho WooCommerce has a single place designated to be where product descriptions should go, and is the big text box under the Product’s Name:

Some WordPress theme guides their users to put their product descriptions in a smaller text box called 'Product Short Description', and is hidden at the bottom the product’s edit page:

In some cases, themes will even combine both these boxes and present the combined texts in the product’s page.

When you are migrating your products from WooCommerce to Shopify, Woopify needs to know where to pull the product description from. Woopify offer a solution for all 3 cases:

1. If your products description is in the its proper description field (top image), select 'Use only Product Description' from the Product Content Source in the Settings page.
2. If your products description is in the Product Short Description field (bottom image), select 'Use only Product Short Description'
3. And lastly, if the products description is a combination of the short description and the regular description, select Use Both.

During migration, Woopify will pull the content from the boxes you selected above and send it to Shopify.
